Halloween is an event of Christians. It also known with other names in western like Hallowe’en, Alhallowe’en, All Hallows’ Eve, All Saints’ Eve. It celebrated for three-Days from 31 October to 2nd November. Most of the Western Christians and many of the non- Christians around the world celebrate it.
History of Halloween
The word Halloween is derived from the old words All Hallows Eve because it was the eve of All Hallows Day. At first, it was celebrated on the first Sunday after Pentecost in late May or early June.
However in the West in 609 or 610 Pope Boniface IV moved the feast of all martyrs to 13 May. In the 8th century, it was celebrated at 1st November by Pope Gregory III. There was a belief that ghosts and witches were particularly active on that day. In the 18th century, The Halloween become a day for playing door to door pranks with people in Ireland. In mid-19th century Irish and other immigrants took this Festival towards the USA.
They celebrate this with lightening candles and Turnip. Later on in USA turnip became a pumpkin. In 20th-century British pay little attention on it and Today, it becomes a popular event in the USA and in Britain.
Games and Activities of Halloween
On this day children travel door to door in costumes for asking to trick-or-treat. Usually, treat means candies and in some countries, it assumes to be money and trick refers to the threat.

It related to the root vegetables like turnip and pumpkin, associated with the holiday of Halloween.

Halloween in Islam
Halloween in Islam is totally Haram. Its autumn, SubhanAllah but most of the muslins waste their time for Christian’s festival “Halloween” In Islam highest level of falsehood is kufr.
Allah says in the Holy Quran:
” And those who do not witness falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity.” (25:72)
On the other hand dancing, music, drinking, back-biting, false accusations, and celebrations of Mushrikeen is taking place.
Rasool Allah (P.B.U.H) said in an authentic narration that,
“Whoever resembles a person is from them, (Abu Dawood 4031)
Let us rely on Quote of our beloved prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H). He clearly stated: “Do not be like them”
